Interpreting Surveys, Infographics, and Research Findings
In today’s data-driven world, understanding how to interpret and communicate information effectively is essential. This workshop is designed for undergraduate students who want to enhance their ability to critically analyse and interpret data in various forms, including survey results, infographics, methodology descriptions, and research findings.
Through discussions and activities, Participants will:
- Learn how to evaluate survey results, including understanding sampling methods, biases, and margins of error.
- Assess infographics for accuracy, clarity, and potential manipulations.
- Gain strategies for reading and understanding research papers and interpreting key findings.
At the end of the session, participants will have practical skills to critically engage with data in academic, professional, and everyday contexts.
