Making Sentences Work


Writing is most often how you convey your ideas at university, and having the ability to write well gives you the power to shape and deploy those ideas effectively. This interactive course gives you strategies for becoming a confident writer and editor, even if you have no prior knowledge of grammar.

  • Session 1:   Meaningful verbs, meaningful subjects
  • Session 2:   Variety and emphasis
  • Session 3:   Voice and vocabulary
  • Session 4:   Synthesis and flow
